Home for Christmas

HAPPY CHRISTMAS AND ALL WINTER HOLIDAYS!!!  May your winter not be dreary. :D

I once again participated in the Buckrider comics anthology for December this year, edited by Pete Aquino!  Here is the download link for the whole issue.

It was a nice experiment because I also made this 3-page comic into a trifold Christmas card to mail to friends!  Below is the comic itself, and photo of assembling the trifold cards.

Now, winter can be over.  Go away, winter. We're done.

Artist Trading Cards: Oldham County Public Library Con 2016

This is the second year I've done OCPL and it is always a pleasure (both the crowd and sitting amongst books all day). And again as I've noticed, there is a theme of the best ATC requests coming from children. :)

Inktober 2016 Round-up

I actually finished Inktober this year.  3rd time's the charm.  ;)

Below are my favorites from the month.  Many of my Inktober subjects were characters from favorite webcomics - the links are below by the character drawings; consider it a recommendation list!  Happy reading! :D

HAPPY 2016!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Thank you to everyone I have met and spoken to at conventions, online and other events in 2015 - here's to continuing in 2016! May it be full of creation and good discoveries.

A lot is coming up quickly... my husband Matthew Sparks will release two independent comics in the first half of the year, and hopefully in the next couple months we will be moving to a new home that better serves our love of creating comics and illustrations. It's going to be... INTERESTING, if nothing else. HERE WE GOOOOO ~

Every nice elf should have a nice squirrel pet, I think. :D (created in Manga Studio and Photoshop)
