this page of gestures is my favorite for today... these are only 10 seconds. bic again.

and this one is by far my favorite!!!! straight pentel, no underdrawing, less than 5 minutes. SHAZAM!!!!!!

now, i need to get better at caricaturing and exaggerating and interpreting. sigh.

Ly'rae Clack

Ly'rae Clack is her name, musical theater is her game. also cashier at Walgreens.

Jacques had a lot to critique on these, but a LOT more for the Helix Strafflegrass designs i did as well; and Helix is the one i'm gonna keep working on i think so i'll just post Ly'rae for the moment. :)

feets for J00. best from the homework assignment, pentel :D those are all my feet, except for the black shoes bottom left, those are Jon's.


annnnnnd blind contour drawings of 5 hands. spiffy. i actually like those. bic.

more gestures of Carol! getting better. these are 15 seconds (drawn with good ol' bic). i'm gonna re-draw a buncha these big for vernissage, methinks.

floront more!

getting better with guy gestures, somewhat. these still aren't much special, but they're better than before. it says 15 seconds up there, but floront holds for more like 2o or 25 i think.


contour lines! Jacques had us drawing all in enclosed shapes, or as many as we could, to describe the 3D form. that was interesting to do, to see all the different planes.


and this last one turned out nice. pencil and pentel, the pose was either 5 minutes or 10, i can't remember. but i like this one the best of the day; a couple of those gestures run a second. ^__^
