just the one- an ink drawing from a photo i took in rousillion. pentel brush pen. :)

NOW we're getting somewhere!!!! these are 30 second gestures. FINALLY i can capture the whole figure at a fairly good speed!!! actually capture EVERYTHING, not just an action line and shoulders/hips.



5-minute sketch. i drew it in hb pencil and haven't gone over with anything darker which is why it looks horridly bastardized. it is. photoshop is wonderful, but it'd take a ton of cleaning to make this look decent. ah well, jsut a sketch. :)

just the one good drawing from class today. i'm not good at drawing guys at ALL. this was the very last drawing of the 3-hour class, and it's the best one. (actually, it's the ONLY good one, but hey.) pentel brush pen and pencil :)

Action analysis

and so it begins!!! a first crop of drawings for you all. our model's name is Carol, and yes she is that skinny. these are all drawings we had to render from 5-minute sketches and some gestures that turned out well.

(holly wasn't an assignment, no.) ^___^ Pentel brush pen is wonderful, great for line weight and drybrush.

Juno and Marzanna

more sketches for scully's story! juno, top, army leader-person. marzanna, bottom, factory-type worker. marzanna i got on the first try! juno... took about 5 tries. :P she has a greek nose. modeled her a bit after a couple athena statues.

and now, for something completely different

watercolor. :) scanner rather ate the colors, though.
